Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how HushNest uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on https://sellersage.in.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website server to store session state, user preferences, or security tokens.
2. Cookies We Set
SellerSage utilizes a minimal cookie architecture focused entirely on security and authentication:
| Cookie Category | Purpose | Duration | Technical Function |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary / Essential | User Session & Authentication | Session / 7 Days | Secures user login state via encrypted session tokens and prevents Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). |
| Strictly Necessary / Essential | Cloudflare Security & Bot Detection | Session | Cloudflare, our CDN and security provider, sets strictly necessary cookies for bot detection, DDoS protection, and email address obfuscation. These cookies do not track users across sites and contain no personally identifiable information. |
| Functional Preferences | UI & Dashboard Preferences | 30 Days | Stores user interface options (e.g., dark mode preferences, selected currency view). |
3. No Third-Party Advertising Cookies
SellerSage DOES NOT use third-party cross-site tracking cookies, targeting pixels, or ad-network scripts (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Remarketing). We do not sell user browsing habits or marketplace data to advertisers.
4. External Service Dependencies
4.1. Google Fonts: SellerSage loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these font files, Google may log the request (including your IP address) for diagnostic and security purposes. Google Fonts does not set cookies on the end-user’s device for font delivery. For privacy-conscious users, we recommend configuring browser-level font blocking. We are evaluating self-hosting fonts to eliminate this external dependency.
4.2. Cloudflare CDN: SellerSage is served through Cloudflare’s content delivery network and security platform. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot detection purposes as detailed in Section 2 above. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses at the network edge for DDoS mitigation.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control or disable essential cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling essential session cookies will prevent you from logging into the SellerSage web application.
